My Story to Ladakh just cannot be narrated without sharing "Behind The Scene" stories which made it the "Trip of My Life" !!

A single dream changed the perspective of life which created a new opening, a new Passion for travelling.

"One Dream,One Desire To Reclaim My Life".

Let me take you to this beautiful journey.

Flashback.......In the year 2008, I was surfing the Internet for my case study assignment when I came across the article on "Ladakh" which instantly caught my eye. I instantly got hitched to the serenity and mystical energy which exist in that part of the world.As I went through the article, my hearts pumped faster, a chill passed through my body and a Dream was born called "Ladakh"Thank God !! It was well before movie 3 Idiots which made Ladakh a dream of millions !!

As a famous inspiration leader beautifully writes about Goal Setting In Life as

Set a goal to achieve something so big, so exhilarating that it excites and scares you at the same time. A goal that is so appealing and so in line with your spiritual core, that you can't get it out of your mind. If you don't get chillswhen you set a goal, you're not setting big enough goals".

I had got my Goal ! Also Chills had already set in. A year had passed by but still the the snapshot of that feeling was still captured in my mind which made my desire stronger each passing day .

Come August 2009, the time to reclaim my dream and churn it into a reality had come.As I put my efforts to solve the Ladakh Jigsaw Puzzle, I realised there one key piece missing, "companion".

I managed to convince only two friends for the trip and spent sleepless nights searching for two more since pockets were emptier in those days and more the merrier to chip in !!

I found three more travel companion from networking sites and soon my puzzle begun to take shape.Just like all stories have a twist so do mine ! A few days before the trip, I got 10 missed calls and a text message which said "SadmeMein Mar Gaya Kya"(Died In Shocked ??)

This was outburst I got from my friend on not attending the phone calls.The tragedy had begun.One travel partner had drop out of last minute and other two female companion were indecisive. My jigsaw was falling apart and Ladakh trip was in jeopardy.

But as Shahrukh said in Om Shanti Om " Agar Kisi cheez ko puri chiddat se chaho ...to puri kayanaat use aapse milvane par majboor ho jaati hai."(If you wish for something really hard the entire universe will work together for you to achieve it.)The Universe was truly on my side and soon began the journey of convincing , begging,cajoling,sweet talking with female travel companion to join back.They too showed the faith on us and started the new chapter in each one life.

Thus our Journey of 5 unknown traveller best known as "SMART" settled out for the Tranquil Quest in the land of Lamas disconnecting our self from the mad city rush heading to Ladakh for a 15 days road trip covering 3500 kms.

Words cannot express what we experienced in Ladakh but then too I shall try. Mystic Mountains,Serene Calmness, Exquisite Cuisine, Hospitable Locals which were the better than the website article and I had created my own experience !

Apart from this there numerous adrenaline rush comedies like locals laughing at us as we travelled 50 kms without a front windshield glass of our car in 2 degrees,car sliding on the hill slope where land mind activities was underway as the driver went for smoke break with no hand brake.

No Car Permits, Numerous Tyre Punctures, Car Getting Locked, Sleeping on Highway, all mythological stories with all characters at length courtesy our driver and many more such moments are still imprinted in my mind.

The reason I shared the above story is make all readers realise that in life there are numerous small moments which lead us to the moments of our life .Words are just short to describe the amazing wonders of life !

Have a Dream backed by Self Belief and dream will follow You !! You Don't Know How ?? But It will !!

This has inspired me name my trip as Ladakh Calling Ladakh !!

A New Passion Has Born within me which has been increasing manifolds each passing year !!

Pangong lake is noted for its crystal clear blue-blackish water which keeps playing tricks on your eyes changing colours in seven distinct shades of blue, green, purple, turqoise and violet depending on the angle of your view.
